I have been doing Weight Watchers for so long now that it all seems automatic… and it doesn’t seem to be working. I have switched to the “Simply Filling” technique, and I hope to see results from that. If not, I don’t know what I am going to do.
I know I need to adjust my eating patterns, and cut out the carbs. Carbs are killing me. I know I am supposed to eat “whole grain” but this whole being gluten-free makes it difficult to eat whole grains. SO: that means a whole bunch of potatoes, brown rice, and quinoa. Here is the kicker- I loooove potatoes. Love them. So I need to start limiting my intake to 2 / week, instead of chips & snacks all the time.
Goal: to eat more vegetables as snacks.
Goal: to eat what makes me feel good, and to stop eating when I am full. PORTION CONTROL.
As for working out, I am in a pretty good mindset. I recently signed up for another 6-month contract with Pure Barre. After being gone from it for so long, I realized that PB is a lifestyle that I feel good in: the classes are intensely difficult, the stretching is heavenly, and it is 1 hour of my day where I can focus on not-focusing. All my worries go out of my mind and focus on my legs shaking or my arms burning or my butt cramping. It is amazing. I don’t think about anything stressful other than what is happening right in front of me.
I just FEEL good when I am doing Pure Barre : all day I can feel my muscles changing.
Goal: to keep running while going to Pure Barre.
